Uncertainty assessment of 3D geological models based on spatial diffusion and merging model

چکیده
Abstract The geological model plays an important role in geophysics and engineering geology. data source of modeling comes from interpretation data, borehole outcrop data. Due to economic technical limitations, it is impossible obtain highly accurate high-density sources. sparsity inaccuracy sources lead the uncertainty models. Unlike problem probability, there not enough samples for a model. Spatial diffusion merging are introduced, which more satisfied with cognition than existing methods. And then, using conditional information entropy, quantification method uncertainty, proposed. Compared approaches this took full account constraints laws. Based on models framework assessment established. It necessary our create multiple models, time-consuming laborious task. application Hashan survey located at north China shows that study reasonable effective.

mortality forecasting based on lee-carter model
over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...

متن کاملQuality control of 3D Geological Models using an Attention Model based on Gaze
The Geological Survey of the Netherlands (GSN) produces 3D stochast ic geological models of the upper 50 meters of the Dutch subsurface. The voxel models are regarded essential in answering subsurface questions on, for example, aggregate resources, groundwater flow, land subsidence studies and the planning of large-scale infrastructural works such as tunnels. GeoTOP is the most recent and detai...
متن کاملInteractive Editing of Sealed Geological 3D Models
1. Abstract We propose a method to interactively modify contacts between surfaces in a 3D boundaryrepresentation geological model. The modification is based on a hierarchy between a slip surface (a surface that other surfaces can slide along, which in geology could include faults, erosion surfaces, salt tops) and a secondary, deformable surface (e.g. horizon, older fault). The border of the def...
متن کاملMineral potential targeting and resource assessment based on 3D geological modeling in Luanchuan region, China
In this paper, we used 3D modeling and nonlinear methods (fractal, multifractal, and probabilistic neural networks (PNN)) for regional mineral potential mapping and quantitative assessment for porphyry and skarn-type Mo deposits and hydrothermal vein-type Pb–Zn–Ag deposits in the Luanchuan region, China. A 3D geological model was constructed from various geological maps, cross sections, borehol...
